  • Hope Restorations

    Hope Restorations, a nonprofit organization in Kinston, NC, provides skill training and reentry support to adults in recovery from addiction and/or incarceration. Our work involves acquiring deteriorating houses in our community and renovating them to modern standards, providing safe, affordable, energy-efficient housing available to rent for low-income families. Our participants receive 24hr support and stability at our transitional houses and have the opportunity to join our workforce development program to gain transferable skills that will broaden their opportunities upon graduation.

  • Eastpointe

    Eastpointe is a Managed Care Organization (MCO) dedicated to working with individuals and families in Eastern North Carolina who need services for substance use, mental health, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. In partnership with community agencies, licensed independent practitioners, and hospitals, we help the uninsured and those with Medicaid get comprehensive, effective treatment that is essential for their well-being. Eastpointe serves Duplin, Edgecombe, Greene, Lenoir, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, Warren, Wayne, and Wilson counties. The Access to Care line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling 1-800-913-6109 to get connected to services, including Mobile Crisis services.

  • Wayne Community College

    Wayne Community College’s 156-acre main campus is located in Goldsboro, NC and has twelve modern buildings containing more than 400,000 square feet of state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, offices, and a model child care center. WCC offers more than 200 degree, diploma, certificate and continuing education programs. WCC provides access to high-quality education at affordable tuition rates and produces the backbone of the local workforce. Additional classrooms and a hangar are located at the Wayne Executive Jetport. Curriculum and continuing education courses are also offered at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and various locations throughout Wayne County.

  • Day Reporting Center

    The purpose of the Wayne County Day Reporting Center (DRC) is to provide the court system with a concentrated one point of entry for offenders. The DRC is designed to provide a comprehensive resource center. It offers programs to control and manage offender behavior in a community setting and provide educational opportunities, job training and substance abuse counseling.
